YANG SONG

This is a community park design for my Grad LA studio. The site was a vacant block in Greenville, SC. I designed a series of spaces for gardening, sports, meditation, children play, walking, and a bigger lawn area for larger social events. A stormwater detention infrastructure was planned to slow and infiltrate runoff from the adjacent lands. The major challenge is to ensure all the program elements fit with the vegetation communities and site topography.
